This wine underwent whole-berry fermentation and the 2000 was aged in French oak barrels for two years before it was bottled -- unfined and unfiltered -- and aged in the bottle for an additional six months before release. All of this care and diligence has produced a wine with brilliance, definition, and impeccable balance.
